With Triumph motorcycles the primary tuning software we use is TuneECU. We have all the software and hardware necessary to complete a custom tune with TuneECU, meaning the customer doesn’t have to purchase any programming hardware. The Triumphs respond the best to TuneECU which we use to eliminate the timing retards on an individual gear basis, increase rev limiters, turn off O2 sensors and adjust the air injection system as well as properly calibrate speedometer and balance the air fuel ratio. Most Triumphs have already had an ecu reflash from the dealers to match the custom exhausts. However, a custom tune with TuneECU typically nets 10% more power, better fuel economy, and improved throttle response. Eliminating the lean O2 sensor programming through TuneECU is vital to a proper running motorcycle. This is all in addition to what the dealers give you. For example, most Triumph Daytona 675′s with a slip on exhaust will dyno at 104hp with the dealer reflash, after a custom tune with TuneECU we typically see 110-114 hp.
